Circular Materials is the not-for-profit producer responsibility organization (PRO) that will be supporting producers in meeting their Extended Producer Responsibility Regulation obligations for packaging, paper and single-use products (PPP) under the Government of Yukon’s Environment Act, released on January 25, 2024.

This includes submitting a Stewardship Plan on behalf of the producers who have selected Circular Materials to act as their PRO to ensure the Stewardship Plan represents the interests of stakeholders. In June 2024, we held stakeholder engagement sessions with producers, local governments, First Nations and service providers to obtain feedback on the Stewardship Plan prior to submission to the Government of Yukon’s Department of Environment.
