Be recycle ready
- Curbside recycling collection will take place every second week on the same day as your garbage collection.
- The Township employs a single-stream recycling program, which means all recyclables are collected in one bin and sorted and processed at the recycling facility.
- Residents are not required to sort their recycling in separate containers. All recyclables can be placed in the same bin.
- During the winter months, please ensure your recycling is free of snow and ice and visible.
- Secure your recyclables to ensure loose paper and light materials remain in recycle bins.
- Emptied and dried paint cans can be placed for recycling
- Recycling collection begins at 7:00 a.m. on your collection day. Please ensure all items are placed at the curb prior to 7:00 a.m.
- Flatten cardboard and set beside recycling bin in bundles of no more than 1m x 1m x 30 cm.
