Be recycle ready

  • Place recyclables at the curbside by 7 a.m. to ensure they are collected.
  • Haldimand County has weekly collection and operates a two-box recycling program – use one recycling bin for papers and one for containers.
  • Maximum weight 18 kg (40lbs) per recycling container.
  • Please do not place your materials behind a vehicle, snowbank, or other obstruction.
  • Please rinse out your containers.

Depot information

Bring your excess waste and recycling not collected at the curb to the Canborough Waste Management Facility.

Opening hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: Closed
