Recycling program transition
As of January 1, 2025, Cochrane’s recycling program will be managed by Circular Materials, a national not-for-profit organization that is committed to building an efficient and effective recycling system in Ontario.
Be recycle ready
- Place recycling at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your collection day. Review the collection schedule to find your collection day.
- Recycling in the Town of Cochrane goes into one recycling bin (single-stream) and is later sorted at a processing facility.
- Rinse and clean containers to ensure they are free of residue and ready to be recycled.
- Flatten cardboard to save space in your bin and ensure it gets collected.
