Recycling guide and calendar
ViewBe recycle ready
- Items must be placed at curbside by 6:00 a.m. on collection day to receive service.
- Recycling pick-up occurs weekly but alternates between fibre and co-mingle.
-
Place your recycling in approved containers:
- In a visible location on the ground as close as possible to the roadway (not behind shrubs, fences or snowbanks).
- On level ground 3 to 5 feet from the curb or roadside.
- Do not place items on top of snowbanks. Shovel an area that is flat and place your item there to prevent items from falling, slipping or tipping over.
- Do not place items on the sidewalk or travelled portion of the roadway. The roadway and sidewalks must be kept clear for maintenance crews to perform their work. This is especially important during the winter months.
- Residences on private roads are responsible to bring their recycling to the municipal road allowance at the end of the private road in order to access curbside service.
