Recycling program transition
As of January 1, 2025, Burk’s Falls’ recycling program will be managed by Circular Materials, a national not-for-profit organization that is committed to building an efficient and effective recycling system in Ontario.

As of January 1, 2025, please contact Emterra for any recycling collection inquiries. They can be contacted for:
- Replacement recycling bins.
- Missed collections.
- Other recycling questions.

Be recycle ready
- Place recycling at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your collection day.
- Curbside collection of recycling will continue to be every Thursday alternating between fibre and container pick up.
- Container recycling must be sorted, rinsed, and placed loosely in a Blue Box to make it easier to sort.
- Small loose fibers such as paper shredding must be placed in a clear bag to minimize litter.
