Program overview
Launched in May 2014, Recycle BC was the first full extended producer responsibility program in North America. Each year, Recycle BC collects over 200,000 tonnes of packaging and paper products from single-family and multi-family households and recycling depots, and then sorts and responsibly manages and recycles the material.
