As of January 1, 2025, Fauquier-Strickland’s recycling program will be managed by Circular Materials, a national not-for-profit organization that is committed to building an efficient and effective recycling system in Ontario.

- Recycling collection occurs every Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Place recyclables at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your collection day.
- Rinse all containers and bottles and remember to remove all lids and caps from glass and plastic containers.
- Place recyclables loosely in your recycling bin. Do not place in bags.
- Do not crush the cans,
- Flatten cartons and boxes (30” x 30”) to save space in your recycling bin and ensure they are collected.
- Do not compact recyclables tightly in the blue box.
- Clean and rinse your blue box regularly to remove any residue.
- Space the containers 2 feet apart and place the side with numbers and metal handle facing the road.
