Be recycle ready

  • Recycling is collected weekly. It alternates every week between a Grey Bin and a Blue Bin, and is collected on the same day as your garbage.
  • There is no limit to the amount of recycling. Do not put your items in a bag (clear, blue, or other).
  • Place your recycling at the curb before 7:00a.m.
  • Grey bin is for fibers only.
  • Please take off caps and lids.
    • This includes: newspapers, flyers, magazines, catalogues, brown bags, cardboard, envelopes, books, and egg cartons. Remember to discard plastic bags and liners.
  • Blue bin is for plastic, metal and glass only.
    • This includes plastic bottles & containers with #1, #2, #4, #5, #7 (no plastic bags), glass jars & bottles, metal food and beverage cans, clean aluminum plates and trays (no aluminum foil or scrap foil).
    • Packaging foam is not recyclable.
    • Styrofoam is not recyclable.
    • Plastic bags are not accepted to put your recycling at the curb. Please use recycling bins.
    • Garbage bags & plastic (grocery store) bags are not recyclable.
